Black Day Of India:- One of the deadliest assaults on Indian security personnel in Kashmir is the Pulwama attack. The 2019 Pulwama attack claimed the lives of up to 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officers when an explosives-laden car crashed into a CRPF convoy. What Is Black Day?

How "The Pulwama Attack" was planned?
Around 3:30 in the morning on February 14, 2019, a convoy of 78 vehicles carrying over 2,500 CRPF personnel departed Jammu. The convoy was scheduled to arrive in Srinagar before dusk and was carrying CRPF personnel from Jammu to that city via NH 44.
Around forty members of the 76th Battalion of the CRPF were killed and several others were injured when an explosives-laden vehicle crashed into the bus at Lethpora at approximately 3:15 p.m. The wounded soldiers were taken urgently to the Srinagar army base hospital.
The terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), which is based in Pakistan, immediately claimed responsibility for the Pulwama attack. The militant group also made available a video of Kakapora native Adil Ahmad Dar, who joined them in 2018.
The perpetrator was identified as a 22-year-old youth. When his family last saw him, he rode out of the house on a bicycle in March 2018 and never came back.
Dar’s family claims that he became radicalized following his beating by Indian police. He was also allegedly detained six times in two years for stone-throwing and for allegedly supporting Lashkar-e-Taiba, a different militant organization with headquarters in Pakistan. But he was never listed in a FIR or formally charged with a crime.

A 12-person team was assembled by India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) to look into the Pulwama attack. The Jammu and Kashmir Police collaborated with the team.
The car that crashed into the convoy in Pulwama may have had 300 kg of explosives on board, according to preliminary inquiries into the incident. The team succeeded in identifying the suicide bomber but was unable to determine where the explosives came from. The NIA named 19 individuals in a charge sheet it filed in August 2020 who it claimed were responsible for the bombing at Pakistan’s request.
The state funerals for the CRPF jawan who was martyred took place in their hometowns. The Financial Action Task Force on Money Laundering (FATF) was urged to place Pakistan on the blacklist of India, which also removed Pakistan’s most favored nation status and increased customs duties on all goods imported into India from Pakistan to 200% on the same day.
India saw protests, marches by candlelight, and the imposition of a curfew in response to violent protests in Jammu and Kashmir. To attend the 13th Association of Anaesthesiologists Congress in Pakistan, a group of Indian physicians decided not to go.

Early on February 18, two terrorists and two of their supporters were slain by a combined team comprising the 55 Rashtriya Rifles, the Central Reserve Police Force, and the Special Operations Group of India. This counterterrorism operation was conducted in response to intelligence provided by India. Four security officers from India lost their lives in the battle with the militants.
Abdul Rasheed Ghazi, also known as Kamran, a Pakistani national, was identified as one of the two terrorists who was slain. He is believed to have been the commander of JeM and the mastermind behind the attack.
Early on February 26, India launched an assault on the JeM training facilities in Balakot. IAF Mirage 2000 aircraft carrying out a cross-LOC bombing of JeM training camps in Balakot. India asserted that the attack claimed the lives of between 300 and 350 terrorists. There was an impending war between India and Pakistan.
The Pakistan Air Force attempted to counterattack Indian military installations in Jammu and Kashmir the following day but was unsuccessful. However, an Indian MiG-21 was struck during the aerial combat, and Pakistan captured Wing Commander Abhinanadan Varthaman, the pilot. Pakistan released him on March 1st, after which he was awarded India’s third-highest wartime gallantry medal, the Vir Chakra.
